Antonina Shliakotina is a Ukrainian legal professional and diplomat currently serving as a Counselor at the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland, working under Ambassador Larysa Gerasko. In this role, she contributes to strengthening diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Ireland, supports Ukrainian citizens abroad, and assists with diplomatic coordination and international cooperation.
Born on 30 April 1988, Antonina studied law at National University Odesa Law Academy from 2003 to 2008, where she earned a Master of Law degree in Jurisprudence. During her university years, she gained early experience in governance and public administration while working as an assistant to Member of Parliament Serhiy Kivalov.
She later pursued postgraduate studies and in 2011 successfully defended her PhD, focusing on administrative and legal principles for conflict resolution in the activities of executive authorities. Her research strengthened her expertise in legal systems, governance, and institutional conflict resolution.
In 2016, Antonina obtained her certificate to practice law from the Kyiv City Bar Council. She also became an entrepreneur in 2017, expanding her professional activities beyond traditional legal practice.
